It’s lovely that you have found us. We’re a family of four, Mr and Mrs ATWWAH, along with Master ATWWAH, an amusing and opinionated four year old and Mini ATWWAH, our newest addition who arrived in the summer of 2014.
The idea for this blog came about after going on holiday to France in 2012 with Master ATWWAH when he was 14 months old and taking his highchair with us. Yes, really! Why? We thought it would be easier to take his highchair to our self-catering accommodation (it was unnecessary there was one already there) and we have discovered that having children can make you do things that are pretty bonkers, even if you are usually a pretty logical person.
So, aroundtheworldwithahighchair, was conceived and came to life in early 2013. It shares our stories of travel, both good and bad, and gives tips on all aspects of travelling with children. We’re very proud that the blog won Best Individual Travel Blog in the UK National Blog Awards in 2013, less than a year after it started and has also been recognised by the MAD Blog Awards (finalist in 2014, shortlisted in 2015 in the Best Family Travel Blog category) and by BritMums Brilliance in Blogging Awards (shortlisted in 2013 and 2014)
As well as writing the blog Mrs ATWWAH also writes for Family Traveller and is currently going through an A-Z of toddler travel, one letter at a time, for them.
With a background in marketing and working for some of the UK’s biggest leisure and entertainment brands including Merlin Entertainments and ODEON cinemas Mrs ATWWAH knows a thing or two about branding and getting people through the door when looking for something to do with their leisure time.
Writing has always been a passion ever since school and starting a blog has scratched that itch and the more writing the better so please get in touch if you are interested in content ideas, partnerships, guest blogs and so on.
The best way to contact Mrs ATWWAH is by email firstname.lastname@example.org or on Twitter @atwwah
Enjoy the blog and please comment on the posts, would love to hear your views and holiday experiences.
