Awards, awards, awards

I’m very lucky, and proud, to have been nominated and shortlisted in a few awards recently for this blog.  As in any industry part of promoting your brand involves being recognised as it spreads the word which is why I chose to ask for nominations in the UK National Blog Awards and MADs.  This cheekiness seems to have paid off and I’ve been shortlisted in the Best Family Travel Blog category for both of these awards.  Thanks to everyone who has nominated me and voted so far, it is really appreciated.

The results of the UK National Blog Awards are announced on April 25th in what sounds like it will be quite a swanky affair at an awards do in London.  I’m really excited about being able to network with lots of other bloggers and pick up some tips on how to improve my own blog.  It will also be lovely to put faces to names in person rather than just reading blogs and poring over photos.

Voting is still going on for the MAD Blog Awards so please feel free, if you like the blog, to cast your vote for me in the Best Family Travel Blog category here

I’ve also been shortlisted in lowcostholiday’s Blogger Awards so again if you fancy voting don’t be shy and click here

And finally, Britmums run their own blogging awards too, the BiBs.  And, again please feel free to nominate me here if you enjoy the blog.

The great thing about nominating and voting is you will also find loads of other blogs by really talented writers and personalities on all sorts of topics.  I can now spend a happy hour or two going from one blog to another following links and comments and finding entertaining stories or thought provoking accounts from people who are just sat at home, like me, sharing information.  It is addictive 🙂
