Breaking The Ice Ticket Competition

Have you heard the astonishing true story about the polar bear who made friends with a husky? If not, check out this film of them playing together.

The Unicorn Theatre have created a show, Breaking  The Ice, inspired by this unlikely friendship and I have a competition to win tickets to go and see it.

Breaking The Ice

Breaking The Ice at Unicorn Theatre, London

The show is currently in rehearsal but promises to be very special.  Music, shadows and projection will transport you to a place where polar bears and huskies really can be friends.  The audience are going to join in with the adventure and take their place on Team Polar Bear or Team Husky.

A shot from rehearsals of Breaking The Ice

The show is suitable for ages 2-5 years and lasts around 50 minutes.  For those who haven’t been to the Unicorn Theatre before it’s brilliant.  It is really child friendly and most of the productions I’ve been to have very laidback seating and there are no worries if your child chatters during the performance.  They are usually really enchanted by what is going on.  It’s a great way to introduce kids to theatre and once you’ve been you will be hooked, believe me.  Check out some reviews of previous Unicorn Theatre shows below so you get more of an idea of what to expect.

To enter the competition all you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post with the name of one of your childhood friends – be they a person, a teddy bear or a pet.

The prize is one ticket which covers one adult, one child and, if required, one additional adult observer ticket to a performance of Breaking The Ice at Unicorn Theatre, London.  The competition is open until 3pm Sunday 6 September and the winner will be chosen at random and contacted on Monday 7 September via email.  The show runs until 4 October 2015.

Good luck.
